Families like this are hard to find. This family is all about laughs, so you can imagine how fun this photo shoot was. Also, they hadn't had a family picture since the 90s, so the kids were happy to have an update from their braces and scrunch socks. (Remember those fond memories of slap bracelets, hyper-color t-shirts, and acid wash jeans?)

Dear Photography Blog - I have not forgotten you

After a brief hiatus from photography blogging, I have some great photos to share from the last few months. I will post a couple every few days so check back often!

I find that I am even more inspired now than ever to take good photos since I have babies on the way. They will be here in 2 weeks and I think my photography will take on a whole new meaning. Can't wait.

In the meantime, here are some photos of a superstar master's degree graduate who is also getting married soon! She needed some photos taken for her graduation announcements. We went downtown for the shoot and I pretty much had to fight off the men who wanted to talk to her.

There is pure joy to be found while playing in the fall leaves, running through a field, and getting your pants dirty without getting in trouble. At least that's what these 3 children found out when we set out to take some photos in my home town of Owasso, Oklahoma. This family inspired me. I was determined to capture natural expressions and tell a story.
